Last month, we reported a case of a notorious rapist known as Baddo, Baddo needs no introduction in Ikorodu, in his name many have given testimony in the church while many have been afflicted

Hell broke loose on the 12th of June when he was arrested and safe guarded to the King’s palace before angry mob could lynched him

Residents came out in hundreds to call for his head, but the king vehemently refused to support jungle justice and ordered the police to tow him back to their station

Yesterday, Ibeshe residents got the shock of their lives as Baddo visited them again, this time he came back in seven folds, not only raping the victim but beating her and her daughter to a very sorry state

As we write this, the victim and her daughter are currently recieving treatment

Now, the question on making rounds in the community is simple; has he been released by the police? Was it the wrong person they arrested?

Police on Ghana have arrested Marvelous Okere, 26, for allegedly stabbing his compatriot, Sunday Orga, over a used toothbrush. The Okere allegedly took the toothbrush of the deceased to brush his teeth but never returned it, resulting in a fight.

Marvelous in anger took an empty wine bottle, broke it and used it to stab Orga in the head and back. He was rushed to the LEKMA hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The incident occurred on Saturday April 30, 2016 around 9am at Nungua beach drive area where the two live in a single room together with five others. Reports indicate that the duo arrived Ghana only two weeks ago, from Delta State, Nigeria, and were perching with the other five friends who are all Nigerians.

There is serious confusion, as authorities seem to be at a loss for what to do to bring down the suicidal man who made news this morning when he climbed an electricity pole and refused to come down.

According to Ken Egbas who is live tweeting the whole drama, a bouncy castle was brought by fire fighters to cushion the man’s fall, in case he chooses to let go of the pole.

Now, the bouncy castle has been deflated and firefighters have push-started their truck and left the scene. Even PHCN officials and the policemen on ground have dusted their buttocks and have left the area, presumably to go back to their normal businesses.

Officials from Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and Lagos Fire Service today rescued man who attempted to commit suicide at Adebisi Oguniyi Crecent Lekki Ikate Round.

According to an eyewitness, Almunsure, he was brought down after he tried cutting himself. He was immediately taken to Eti-Osa Primary Healthcare Centre and he is currently being treated by doctors. He said his name is Fredrick Gino from Cameroon and he doesn’t know how he got to Nigeria.

The man pictured above was caught few hours ago stealing in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Twitter user @Roland-speaks who shared the photos didn’t say what exactly the man was caught stealing.

He simply wrote;

“We Just caught a thief in Yenegoa we are dealing with him while we wait for the police.”

Her friend, Jennifer Oyatabu, wrote: “She answerd a call on sunday night. We overhead her saying dat som1 called her to come dst dey will use her face for calender.. Dat dey will pay her N250k. She never wanted to go. After some while a gal called her bk for dsame stuff. She was preparing to go, ma sist asked her if she knows d person she said dat is some1 she met on d rd.

She told her not to go dat is not geniue. She insisted and left. She called ma sist bk around 7pm and told her dst she csnt come bk again dat she will come bk the next day.. On dat monday everybody was trying her number no way till on sunday. I was telln everybody dat our friend is missing.

On tuesday one guy ran to me and said he overhead me wen was saying we r looking for ma friend.. Dat there was a gal dey killed at transecul penus… She demonstrated her… I told him to follow me 2 ma sist houz so dat dey will knw d way she dressed out we reach there ma sist brought out d pic she snapped b4 she D guy started crying and say she is d one. We took off going to one station or d other finally we reanch to trasecul police station and comfirm dat she is d one. She was lying half naked on d rd. With d beating dey gave her. Her face swallowed up. Blood was coming out from her mouth, noise and ear.

Her two eyes was very black. Chai. D pad she used 4 her mensis was beside her. D killers went away with her phone… Put her slipoers beside d flower. We went to d mortuary today and saw our friend lying helplessly dead there.

I cryed out ma eyes. Buh nomata how amount of cry i cried even if o cry out blood she can never come bk again. Death na so u dey. Chai. I never believed untill today.. God pipo r so wicked and hrtless. Omalicha duh rest untill u fight bk those wicked killers of urs.

They took away ur precious life by force. So fight bk. chai we loved u. And we are going to miss u well. Rip ma love untill we path to c nomore. Jee nke oma ezigbo nwanyi.”

Breaking News : 3 Dead as Hausas and Igbos Clash in Aba [Photos]

Some Fulani herdsmen and residents of the commercial area of Abia state, Aba were involved in a bitter fight that led to the death of a couple of people.

Abia state was today thrown into a state of pandemonium following the occurrence of a bloody fight between Hausa/Fulanis and Igbos.

It took the efforts of security men to quell what would have been a deadly riot between Igbos and Hausa/Fulani Cattle rearers at Water Side Ogbor Hill.

An eyewitness narrated that the clash started when an Hausa cattle rearer allegedly stabbed an Igbo man after some slight quarrel. This led to anger among the Igbo people who saw what happened.

“They killed two Hausa men at the spot, others scampered to the nearest police station, as the slaughter boys chased them with matchetes and cutlasses.” he said.

The young Igbo man who was stabbed by the Hausa man, was reported to have died some moments later as he was stabbed in the heart, the news of his death made the slaughter boys to organize and head to Mosque street Aba.

As at the time of filing this report, the Hausa community in Aba has been deserted over what they feared as bigger reprisals by Ogbor Hill slaughter boys.

A s*x-crazed female nurse has been caught after she sexually molested and abused a little toddler of 2 left in her care.

A female nurse has been caught sexually molesting a 2-year-old toddler.

According to Simpsonville police, the pervert woman has been arrested and charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The nurse identified as Peggy Louise Atkins sexually molested a 2-year-old girl left in her care. Police said the toddler’s foster parent notified authorities that Atkins, the girl’s nurse, had the child in an inappropriate position.

According to the child’s biological mother, the child was placed in foster care after the young girl suffered serious injuries at the hands of her father. The mom, who did not want to reveal her name in order to protect the child, said she just hopes justice is served and that her little girl is allowed to come home.

“I just want my child to come back home so that everything can be back like it use to be, you know I love my daughter and I have been fighting and I am not going to stop fighting and justice needs to be served for not just my child, but for me too,” the mother said.

Atkins has a criminal record that includes assault and driving under the influence, according to a report from the S.C. Law Enforcement Division.

Luck has eventually run out on an alleged serial rapist who has been a nightmare to female students of LAUTECH, as he was finally captured.

According to video clip making rounds on social media, the students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) recently captured a young man who has allegedly been stealing and raping female students in their institution for close to two years now.

The man reportedly drives down from Kwara Polytechnic in a Toyota Camry to the institution and he is said to steal phones, rob people at ATM points and also rape female students.

A video shared online showed the alleged rapist stripped n*ked, beaten up and his hands bound as students interrogated him.

Someone could be heard saying his leg should be cut off so he doesn’t steal anymore while others kept throwing questions at him.

A bill prohibiting hawking and begging has been passed by the Kaduna state House of Assembly, and was signed into law by the governor.

Outspoken governor of Kaduna State, Nasiru El-Rufai, has signed into law a bill prohibiting hawking and begging in the state which would take effect from September 2016.

Speaking during the signing of a partnership agreement to boost the education sector that every child in the state must go to school, the governor disclosed to a delegation from UNESCO, UNICEF and USAID and said;

“This morning, I signed a bill that prohibits street hawking and begging in Kaduna state. From September 2016, every child between the ages of 6 and 15 must be in school not on the street hawking or begging, otherwise the parents must be prosecuted and sent to prison.

“We have taken this step to give impetus to the Universal Basic Education Act which makes basic education in Nigeria compulsory.

“We must force people to send their children to school and we are not going to give them choice; everyone in Kaduna state must go to school,” he said.

El-Rufai added that his administration would ‘open the doors of learning to every child and will not shirk in its responsibility to make public schools capable of delivering quality education.’

He said the state government would build more classrooms to enable every child in the state access qualitative basic education.

A man caused chaos inside a Lagos hotel after he went haywire chasing and stabbing several people with broken bottle.

The man identified as Sunday Micheal, confessed to stabbing nine customers with a broken bottle in an hotel. He was arraigned, and an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Wednesday reserved May 18 for judgment in the case.

The magistrate, Mr A.A Adesanya, remanded Micheal, 24, in Kirikiri Prison after he had pleaded guilty to the allegation.

Micheal, a vulcaniser of No. 53, Oshodi Road, Mafoluku in Oshodi, Lagos State , was arraigned on a two-count charge of a breach of peace and assault.

The prosecutor, Insp. George Nwosu, said that the accused committed the offences on April 3 at Marina Hotel, Alagbado, a suburb of Lagos. He said that the accused assaulted one Wasiu Adenekan by beating and stabbing him with a broken bottle.

“The accused stabbed the victim all over his body with a broken bottle,” he said. Nwosu said that the accused also caused a breach of the peace by chasing away the hotel’s customers with a broken bottle.

“There was a night-show at the hotel and, suddenly, the accused who was drunk started chasing viewers with a broken bottle.

“Everybody started running helter-skelter for their lives, but he succeeded in stabbing eight customers with a broken bottle.

“The accused also pursued the complainant; the complainant fell and the accused caught up with him and stabbed him severally all over his body.

“Blood gushed out from the complainant’s body and he fainted, he is still lying critically at a general hospital,” he said.

The prosecutor said that the accused also damaged 28 plastic chairs and tables as well as five crates of empty bottles, all valued at N47,400.

The offences, Nwosu said, contravened Sections 166 and 171 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. Section 171 prescribes a three-year jail term as penalty for offenders.
