Oregon State University Ecampus

Oregon State UniversityEcampus grants: The school provides the grants based on need to students enrolled in a program of study provided through Extended Campus. The grants provide students up to $1,000 per term. Students can only use the grant money for Ecampus tuition and fees.

Penn State World Campus

Pennsylvania State UniversityAvailable scholarships:

Students interested in the scholarships need to have a FAFSA on file, receive admittance from Penn State World Campus and complete an application.

Post University

Post UniversityAll One Family Scholarship Program: The program provides a 25 percent tuition grant to students in Post University’s Accelerated Online and Evening & Weekend Programs. The All One Family Scholarship Program helps families with multiple students enrolled at Post University.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods CollegeThe college provides online students transfer scholarships including:
SMWC Associate degree scholarship: Students receive up to $2,000 towards the cost of tuition only.
SMWC Transfer Grant: Students receive up to $2,000 towards the cost of tuition only.
The college provides online students non-transfer scholarships such as:
Phi Theta Kappa: Students receive up to $1,000 to cost of tuition only.
SMWC Legacy Grant: Students receive up to $1,000 towards the cost of tuition only.
SMWC Academic Achievement Grant: The college provides up to $1,000 towards the cost of tuition only for students enrolled full-time and $500 per year towards the cost of tuition only for students enrolled less than full-time.
SMWC Teach: Students receive up to $2,000 towards tuition only.

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU)

Southern New hampshire UniversityContinuing Education Scholarship: Candidates include SNHU Online students and matriculated SNHU Continuing Education students.
The Dr. Jeannette A. Ritzenthaler Scholarship provide scholarships to students from the Lake Region of New Hampshire enrolled in the Continuing Education or Online Undergraduate program. The Martha Van Hyland Scholarship goes to residents matriculated in SNHU Continuing Education or Online bachelor’s degree program. The Deborah Farse Memorial Transfer Scholarship goes to women from New Hampshire who seek to transfer at least three credits from another institution to the College of Online and Continuing Education at SNHU toward a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree.

Strayer University

Strayer UniversityStrayer University provides two scholarships to qualifying students:
Academic Readiness Scholarship: Candidates for the $1,000 scholarships include new and readmit students registering for a Bachelor’s degree program.
Academic Readiness Scholarship: Candidates for the $1,000 scholarships include new and readmit students registering for a Master’s degree program.

SUNY Empire State College

SUNY Empire State CollegeThe Center for Distance Learning Scholarships include:
Morton Bahr Scholarship: The scholarships help union members and other workers pursuing a degree at Empire State College. The scholarship awards fully cover tuition, fees and special services.
Dr. John M. Bechem II Scholarship: The school provides $500 scholarships to students, with an interest in technology, who seek an associate, bachelor or master degree.

The State University of New York at Potsdam

SUNY PotsdamThomas L. and Jane D. Russell Distance Education Scholarship: Students receive $1,000 for distance education coursework. Candidates must have successfully completed at least one credit-bearing distance education course at SUNY Potsdam or any other institution. Candidates are also required to register for a second distance education course. Any SUNY Potsdam distance education credit-bearing course is eligible for consideration.

University of Florida College of Education

University of FloridaMaxwell and Dolores King Scholarship: The school provides this scholarship to distance education students pursuing a Leadership Educational Administration Doctoral Degree in Higher Education Administration; based on scholastics merit. The College of Education provides two scholarships at $1,500 each.

University of Maryland University College

University of Maryland University CollegeEach year the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) provides scholarships to more than 3,500 students. UMUC bases the scholarships on merit and/or financial need. The university provides specially designated scholarships to graduate students, undergraduate students, community college transfers, military servicemembers, veterans, military spouses, students in specific academic programs and more.

University of Phoenix

University of PhoenixPhoenix Scholarship Reward program: Online students become eligible for the program after they complete their first 24 credit hours within 52 weeks in an undergraduate degree program. Students save up to $10,000 for their bachelor’s degree program or $3,750 for their associate’s degree if they maintain consistent enrollment.

University of Wisconsin–Platteville Distance Education

University of Wisconsin PlattevilleDawn Drake Excellence in Distance Education Scholarship: The university looks for candidates seeking a degree and enrolled in any University of Wisconsin – Platteville Distance Education program. Students also need at least a 3.0 GPA and successfully completed one course in the University of Wisconsin- Platteville Distance Education program. The university provides the scholarship to graduate and undergraduate students.

University of Wyoming

University of WyomingEdelweiss Fund scholarship: The university gives the scholarship to one or more University of Wyoming Outreach School students to help them complete their University distance delivered academic program. The Edelweiss funds gives priority to students recently or newly enrolled in an academic program delivered via the University of Wyoming’s Outreach School; female non-traditional students; preferably Wyoming resident students from a family which have not had family members who graduated from college and single mothers.

Walden University

Walden UniversityThe university provides a variety of scholarships including scholarships based on degree level and area of study. Walden University also provides social change scholarships and grants.


Western Governors University

Western Governors UniversityWestern Governors University provides numerous scholarships including WGU General Scholarships, WGU Partner Scholarships, scholarships for military personnel, veterans and spouses, and scholarships from external sources.
